The head has a rubber seal to keep the contents fresh longer. The shipping on cookie jars is always higher than expected but it is because of
needing to use a larger box to pack safely. Shipping fees are based more on box size than zip and weight anymore so please take that into
consideration when purchasing. I do not have any handling charges and use all new boxes and packing materials which cost me money and not you.
