This Vintage May 1942 Popular Science Magazine is a 70th ANNIVERSARY ISSUE. This is Volume 140 and Number 5. This Magazine is in Excellent Condition from the World War II Era. This Magazine's front cover has great color and is very clean and shows Parachute Bombers For Offense which is on page 82. It measures approx. 6 1/2" x 9 1/4" and is suitable for framing. This Magazine is full of very unusual ads and articles. There is an Ad for Harley-Davidson, an Ad with Charles Atlas and an Ad for Friends Rum Cured Smoking Tobacco. On the back cover there is an Advertisement for Camel Cigarettes By "Joe DiMaggio" and at the top of the page "Joe DiMaggio shows you his Mighty Swing. Now for the first time amazing stroboscopic camera analyzes the swing that made baseball history.
