Porcelain Deer Match Holder Japan. Holds wooden matches. This is a beautiful hand painted match holder with gold trim around the top of the holder and accenting around the holder. Marked with the Japan red stamp marking. Best guess circa 1920s to 1940s.

Note: Don't confuse this one with the black made in Japan stamped version, or the made in Occupied Japan version.

Width front to back 2 3/4 inch.

Tooth pick holder size

Width front to back 1 3/4 inch;

No chips No Cracks No Crazing. Gold trim excellent.
