(1751-1836) Known as "The Father of the Constitution," he was born at Belle Grove Plantation, near Port Conway, Va., and served as the 4th President of the United States, 1809-1817.

Portrait engraving, in an oval format, surrounded by ornate design with flourishes, etc., and a spread winged at the top, and vignette of the burning of the U.S. Capitol by the British in 1814 at the bottom.
