Stories included are Christmas Day at Kirkby Cottage by Anthony Trollope, Rip Van Winkle by Washington Irving, The Disabled Soldier by Oliver Goldsmith, 'Way Down in Lonesome Cove by Mary Noailles Murfree, Grizel Cochrane by J M Wilson, An Ingenue of the Sierras by Bret Harte, The Christmas Broadcast by Pope Pius XII. Red cloth hardboards with gold lettering and design on spine. Good++ condition, no spine cracks or fraying. Very slight fading of red on spine. Top page edges are tipped in gold gilt. Pages are clean and crisp, no scribbles or tears. Great illustrations throughout. A nice collection of short stories for your enjoyment!
