Vintage costume jewelry out of an older home. Unsigned pair of pierced earrings (no manufacturer or country of origin marking), appear to be made of some sort of thin silver-colored metal (not sterling or silver plate, perhaps chrome but we're not sure). Largely octagon or 8-sided in shape, these have a neat molded raised bump design alternating with areas of flat turquoise coloring or enameling. The turquoise is two toned, with a darker shade in the center and at the top of the earrings and a lighter shade as an inner band. One piece construction measuring about 1 5/8 inched in length and 1 1/2 inches in greatest width.

The silver areas are very bright and shiny with the turquoise areas having a nice smooth appearance which also gives them a shiny surface. As a result, it was very difficult to shoot pictures of these and have the turquoise coloring look as it does in person. We shot images both with and without the camera lighting due to the strong white "hot spots" it created. The images without the camera light are a closer representation of the turquoise color, but the lighting allows you to see the details of these earrings better. However, the turquoise coloring still looks richer in appearance than any of the 5 images can show. Normal used condition with some scratches and wear that you can see close-up but would not be an issue when worn. In particular there is a line scratch in the turquoise center section of one earring with some rubbed spots/wear also on the dark turquoise top section of that same earring, but again, not an issue from a distance.
