Published in 1911, this little cookbook was from the Royal Baking Powder Company, New York. The title is Royal Baker and Pastry Cook A Manual of Practical Receipts for Home Baking and Cooking. The booklet has 46 pages plus covers. There are no illustrations inside but many, many receipes. The center section is a 4 page insert printed in red extolling the virtues of Royal Baking Powder over any others. The front and back covers are in full color and have great illustrations. There is a bit of damage to the index page. The top left corner has ripped away so the first 5 lines are gone. The book measures 8 inches by 5 1/8 inch wide. A nice addition to any collection. |
