An interesting 1919 Peace mug with Britannia and flags of the allies. On the back Sir David beattys Historic Signal "The German flag is to be hauled down at Sunset to-day, and is not to be hoisted again without permission". In good condition.  Banner reading 'Freedom and Justice' with national flags of Russia, France, UK and Belgium. In excellent condition. Base stamped with maker Royal Coleston & 1914.  An interesting plate with a border of 8 hand colored flags of the allied nations. A center Lion of Flanders (Commemorating the heroic stand of Belgium)surrounded by 'Unity makes Strength'. The rear has the mark of the English maker W.H.Goss and 'Depose - F.B.den Boer Middelburg 1916'. The attached metal wall hanger appears to have been made at the time. Some wear to the center black color otherwise in excellent condition. 

 An interesting end of World War I bone china plate with flags of the allies and the Statue of Liberty. The banner reads 'Might in the right cause has prevailed'. In good condition with slight wear.

WWI VERY UNUSUAL CUP & SAUCER  CIVILIZATION’. BACK READS 'SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM THE RT.HON. D. LLOYD GEORGE PRIME MINISTER - I HAVE NO HESITATION IN SAYING THAT ECONOMY IN THE CONSUMPTION OF FOOD IN THIS COUNTRY IS A MATTER OF THE GREATEST POSSIBLE IMPORTANCE TO THE EMPIRE AT THE PRESENT TIME'. In very good condition with just a tiny 1/8" hairline. See all pictures

A distinguished military career mostly in Africa (Egypt, The Sudan and The Boer War) and served as Secretary of State for War at the outbreak of World War I. In good condition with the usual wear the rim gilding.

GENERAL LORD KITCHENER OF KHARTOUM - BOE $35.00

GENERAL SMUTS. (1870-1950). Veteran of the Boer War, WWI and WWII. He was twice premier of South Africa. A 9" x 7 1/2" frame containing a Godfrey Phillips Cigarette silk panel from the 1916 Great War Leaders and Celebrites Series. Some light foxing. Back of frame stamped Pieter Oosthuizen.   A FINE PLATE BY THE NEW CHELSEA PORCELAIN CO. SHOWING DOVES AND AN ANGEL WITH AN OLIVE BRANCH ABOVE ST. PAUL'S CATHEDRAL. FRONT MARKED 'ENGRAVED BY H.FENNELL'. GOOD CONDITION SLIGHT AGE CRAZING ONLY ON THE BACK.

 Cup and saucer both inscribed ‘The German flag is to be hauled down at Sunset to-day, and is not to be hoisted again without permission - Beatty - Nov 21st 1918’. In very good condition.

                                               An unusual plate with hand painting, Miss Liberty and flags of the allies. Rear marked JC? Limoges, France. In good condition with no chips or cracks. The rim gilding is worn.

Crest of the City of London on the front base. 6 1/4". Nurse Cavel as shot by the Germans in Brussels for helping the allied soldiers escape. Excellent condition.  A good bone china mug dated 1919 with a dove carring an olive branch and flags of the allies. Excellent condition.  A 1919 mug given by Samuel Samuel M.P. 'To commemorate the great victory of the British Empire'. No makers marks. In good condition with no chips or cracks only light age wear to the handle and rim.
