There are 27 individual Buffalo's on this necklace, and there is NO clasp....the beads need to be re-strung. I purchased them to put other beads in between and never did it. Each of the Buffalo's is just over 1/2 inch long, and 3/4 of an inch nose to tail. The beads are lovely, and they are very smooth, not rough to the touch. I was going to put Turquoise in between them???
