Large 32-piece collection of vintage Mason’s Plantation Colonial ironstone dinnerware, dating approximately from the 1930s–1950s and made in England for Carl Forslund of Grand Rapids, Michigan. This discontinued mid-century pattern features a striking multicolor floral design on cream-colored ironstone. This listing is for the entire collection shown, including dinnerware and a nice selection of serving and accessory pieces. Included in the lot: - 7 dinner plates – 10-1/2" - 2 salad plates – 7-3/4" - 6 bread & butter plates – 5-7/8" - 3 footed cups with 3 matching saucers - 1 square vegetable bowl – 8-1/2" × 8-1/2" - 1 oval vegetable bowl – 9-5/8" × 7-5/8" - 1 gravy boat with fixed underliner - 1 creamer - 1 sugar bowl (no lid) - 1 miniature creamer / individual gravy boat - 1 celery dish – 8-5/8" × 4-1/4" - 1 covered mustard jar (no ladle) - 1 salt shaker - 1 pepper shaker - 1 condiment tray Condition: Overall, this collection is in remarkably nice condition, with strong colors and very little evidence of use. Most pieces have no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing, or noticeable wear. The following exceptions are noted: - The six bread & butter plates have very light crazing. - The oval vegetable bowl has one tiny chip on the underside of the rim. - The condiment tray has faint crazing. - The sugar bowl is missing its lid. - The mustard jar is missing its ladle.
