Description
This original postcard is from the 1933 Century Of Progress (Chicago World's Fair) which was held in Chicago. It is in excellent condition and the front features the "Ford Drama of Transportation Carriages such as the: Tutankh-Amen Chariot (1360 B.C.), Conestoga Wagon (1750-1850), 4 Wheel Chaise (1770), Brewster Coach (1860-70), Concord Coach (1827) & Campbell Coach (1790)". The reverse side features a postcard format, which is unused and a paragraph that says "The evolution of horse-down transportation from the primitive chariot to the luxurious vehicles of the latter part of the 19th century." and measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".
