Description

This original postcard is from the 1933 Century Of Progress (Chicago World's Fair) which was held in Chicago. It is in very good condition but is slightly yellowed & has slight stains and the front features the "The site of Chicago in 1779 (Teen Called Eschikago)". The reverse side features a postcard format, which is unused and a paragraph that says "Showing a reproduction of the First House Built in Chicago by Jean Baptiste Point De Saible, a Santo Domingan Negro, in this house the first white child was born and married, the first election and first court was held" and measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".
