This original postcard is from the 1933 Century Of Progress (Chicago World's Fair) which was held in Chicago. It is in very good condition with slight stains and the front features the "Palmolive Building, By Night, Chicago". The reverse side features a postcard format, which is unused and a paragraph that says "A spectacular night-time feature of the new Palmolive Building is the Lindbergh Beacon, Mounted atop a shining bronze column, 603 feet above Chicago, its two billion candlepower beam is visible to aviators in the air as far east as Cleveland, Ohio, & as far south as St. Louis, Missouri" and measures approx. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2".
