This is an original vintage 1937 Sunday School Rally Day postcard published by G & W Co., N.Y.C. (R.D. No. 205). The front features a charming illustration of Jesus welcoming little children surrounded by a decorative floral border and birds, accompanied by text and scripture from Matthew 19:14: 'Suffer little children, and forbid them not to come unto me.' The reverse side bears a clear Jamestown, N.Y. postmark dated October 1, 1937, along with a green 1-cent George Washington postage stamp. It is hand-addressed to Robert Carlson of Jamestown, N.Y., inviting him to attend the Cradle Roll Dept. at Buffalo St. M.E. Church on October 3rd at 11:00 AM. The postcard shows minor age-appropriate wear including slight edge/corner rounding and gentle paper toning, but remains in very good historical condition with clean handwriting and clear markings.
