Original 1986 CESAR Ronald Reagan caricature mask in exceptional condition. This wonderfully exaggerated Ronald Reagan mask was produced by CESAR in 1986, during Reagan's presidency. The maker's CESAR comedy/tragedy logo and 1986 date are molded into the back of the mask and clearly visible in the photos. Presidential masks became an unforgettable part of movie culture with the 1991 film Point Break, in which the bank-robbing "Ex-Presidents" wear masks depicting former U.S. presidents, including Ronald Reagan. This vintage CESAR mask predates the film by approximately five years and makes a great collectible for fans of political memorabilia, presidential collectibles, vintage masks, and Point Break. Condition: Remarkably well preserved for a rubber/latex mask approaching 40 years old. There are no tears, cracks, splits, paint loss, or noticeable wear to the colors or mask itself. The molded details remain crisp and the painted colors are strong. There is a handwritten “3.00” in blue on the inside edge of the mask, presumably an old price notation. Please note: This mask is associated with Point Break as a collectible/search reference because of the famous Reagan-mask imagery in the film.
