These were sold to me as Whitby Jet beads, but I think they are very old hand cut glass...though they are very light. There are larger (10mm)and small (4.8mm)faceted beads with long (3/4 Inch) ones in between. They are on a pice of older twine, and need to be restrung for safety. They are sparkling and lovely.
