Description

Antique Native American Deerskin Buckskin Baby Child Moccasins. These are artistic and over all excellent condition. There is some beading missing. They have nice fringe around the tops. Even has a deerskin sole attached to bottom. I just love these. They are just as pictures show, real soft leather. There is a hand written provenance note that came with them that reads: Made by the Indians given to Dorothy Brady Conlin by her father Frank Brady 1900. This would mean circa 1900. I did research and found Frank W. Brady in the census records, which notes Birth Place Indian Territory, further notes born about 1887, which would make him a very young father, but record says about 1887. There are several tribes in Oklahoma, presuming he was born in Oklahoma. Length heel to to outer 5 1/4 inches. Please ask any questions. Please search for Allie's Vintage Alley to see my online store. Shipping cost is actual cost, no handling fee. This item will ship from USA, St. Albans, VT zip code 05478 in a box size 9 X 7 X 7 inches and has a total boxed weight of 11 ounces.
