This is a good sharp beveled socket chisel, marked "BAKER & HAMILTON" on the steel. It measures 12.5" long overall x 3/8" wide cutting edge. The handle is solid and has a good leather cap tacked on the end. Some minor staining noted on the bottom surface, nice sharp cutting edge. A good sharp, useable chisel with lots of life left in it! Baker & Hamilton was in operation from 1854-1924 in San Francisco CA. I have never seen a chisel made by them before, but this has a nice quality steel!
