This is a nice clean 6" long rare firm-joint inside calipers with integral spring fine adjustment. I believe this is a No. 832 listed in a 1924 catalog, but not numbered on the tool itself. It is marked "BROWN & SHARPE MFG. CO. PROVIDENCE U.S.A. TEMPERED". The caliper works perfectly, no damage noted, some darkening and very light pitting on about 20% of the steel. A nice machinist tool overall!
