This is a nice clean tanged gouge carving chisel, with the bent front style. It marked "BUCK BROTHERS" on the steel, it is fitted with a English type 8 sided handle in very good condition. The handle is very nice with, no cracks or damage, the black lines are painted on for some special purpose by a past owner, and there is also three past owner's intials noted neatly stamped in two places. The chisel is sharp, is out-channel sharpened, and measure .09" wide (at the widest point x 9.0" long overall. The steel is a very good quality, no rust or pitting, sharp and ready to use.
