This is a nice 7/16" wide tanged gouge chisel, designed for wood lathe turning. It is marked with the Buck logo and "BUCK BROS. CAST STEEL" mark. This chisel is sharp and ready to use, in very good condition, no rust or pitting, nice polished steel! The chisel is 14.5" long overall, the steel alone as shown is 8.5" long. The handle is very solid with a good brass ferrule. A nice lathe chisel overall, by a well known edge tool maker! Made in the U.S.A.!
