This beautiful vintage hand painted handled cake plate measures 10 1/2 inches across. The flowers and leaves are wonderfully hand painted and it has a gold edge. The piece is signed "H. Somers" and on the back is a personal message by the artist that says: "Marion and Ed. 1937 - 1982 Sept 18. Hand painted especially for you by Harriet Somers Emporia, Kansas. The plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches.
