Handpainted china baseball standing on a china stand (part of the ornament) The basball comes in half and there are 2 inserts inside it.....I have no idea what these are for. The ball is in superb condition, and I bought it years ago at an estate sale because it was so different....I had no idea what is was then, and I have no idea now..sorry!. It is 3 1/4 inches tall, and 3 inches wide. There are no chips in the china
