Vintage Coiled Basket with Lid and Handle Black African Doll on top. This is a nice coiled basket in excellent shape as seen. On top is a hand made black african doll done with cloth and paper body. Her clothing is cotton. Her facial features are sewn on. Her arms and legs are paper wrapped and her face/head and body are stuffed cloth. She is beautiful. She has some wear to one hand and some dust. Basket is in over all excellent condition. Selling just as found and just as pictured. Circa 1940s to early 1950s. Basket height with handle 8 1/2 inches; Actual basket height, no handle 3 1/4 inches; Length across center, handle to opposite handle, 6 1/2 inches; Basket across center, no handles, 6 inches.
