Offering this very clean corrugated plane clearly marked "CRAFTSMAN" in 2 places, on the blade, cap cover. It is also marked "6CBB" the model number on one side. The handle and knob are reddish brown stained hardwood no cracks, one small ding at the edge of the mounting screw-hole at the top of the tote some wear on the stain causing the finished surface to feel a bit rough, but overall both are in nice shape. The cutter and chip iron is all in good++ condition with over 95% original blade length intact, very sharp and ready to use, and good clean bare metal surfaces. The black and red paint/Japanning are about 95% intact, no rust on any surfaces, very clean, well cared for corrugated (sole) plane! The cutter is sharp and near full length. This particular model is most similar to the older Stanley No. 6 that didn't have the frog adjustment screw, as this one has cutter depth and lateral cutter adjustment, but no frog adjustment. A very nice plane overall!
