Doulton Lambeth Stoneware Jug, c. 1891. Wonderful crisp sprigged decoration of a hunter and his dogs, chasing a buckdeer around the bottom. A tree and fence, a windmill and bar room scenes around the middle and shoulder. Great reeded handle ending with a floral terminal and strap. Excellent piece. Measures 5 1/2 inches tall by 4 3/4 inches at the widest point and 2 3/4 across at the rim.
