This is an offering for a very hard to find English China Flow Blue 8-7/8" wide plate with the long ago former Washington Hotel in Seattle. This was a spectacular hotel that was around for a short while before a regrade of the area took it away from the landscape. The shoulder of the plate is decorated with roses. The mark states ENGLAND "THE WASHINGTON SEATTLE, WASH." The crown is straight sided, if that helps in identification of the maker. There is a chip on the underside of the rim near the mark and a crack that runs from the rim to just past mid-body that has some staining underglaze.
