Eskimo Souvenir Doll Celluloid or Ivory Face Rabbit Fur Hand Sewn. No makers marks found. Maker unknown. This is a best guess circa 1960s vintage Eskimo Doll that is all hand sewn and decorated. I believe the face is hand painted and it is either Ivory or Celluloid as it does have a grain to the material. The fur is great and probably Rabbit. There is a leather belt band that is hand sewn attached as well as hand decorated beading that goes all the way around. The little boots are Leather Suede and fur and again, all hand sewn. This is really quite a wonderful piece from an avid doll collector that travelled all over the country. Its just a special piece that I wish I knew more about. Height 12 inch including fur on hood.
