Fenton Art Glass Rose Ashtray Set Milk Glass 1968-1970.This is a beautiful White Milk Glass Color 5 piece set includes 4 ashtrays plus holder. This set is somewhat hard to find, first introduced in 1968 and discontinued in 1970. The holder is embossed with tiny rose buds and has roses for handles. There are no chips or cracks. Two of the ashtray have rough edges on side and bottom from the mold. This is a beautiful set in near mint condition. Size: From outside handle to opposite handle 5 1/2. The base is 4 x 4 inch. Each ash tray 2 1/2 inch square. This set is heavy for its size, weighing a little over two pounds. No Fenton logo. This item was produced before Fenton began marking their wares with labels and logo markings. I found referenced and pictured on page 304-305 in a Fenton Art Glass Patterns 1939-1980 book by Margaret & Kenn Whitmyer. A must have. Please ask any questions.
