This is a nice, clean, all metal combination canned jar (like jelly, or mustard)top opener, designed to give plenty of extra leverage when opening those difficult to open sealed jars. This one was patented in 1910, and is marked J.C. FORESTER & SONS PITTSBURGH PA. 4 IN 1 PATENTED SEPT. 13, 1910". Since some jar top sizes had already been standardized in that era, this tool will still work on some jars made today. It was designed for 2.62" diameter size. I believe the other tools on this tool are a can opener, but not sure about any of the others, as this is a 4 in 1 tool. The jar top remover works great, and the tool is clean, and in good working condition. A nice old kitchen collectible!
