Description
Up for sale is a beautiful porcelain creamer pitcher crafted by Haviland and Co. in Limoges, France. This exquisite piece dates between 1894 and 1931 based on the official green factory underglaze mark. It features a rare red overglaze decorator stamp showing it was custom-made for the high-end Carson Crockery Company based out of Denver, Colorado.
The creamer features a delicate, classic French design of trailing pink roses and small yellow floral swags. It is anchored by a vibrant, heavily gilded brushed gold handle and a clean gold rim accent.
Dimensions
Width: Approximately 6 and a half inches from the tip of the spout to the edge of the gold handle.
Height: Approximately 4 inches tall at its highest point.
Condition Report: This piece is in excellent vintage condition, especially considering its century-old age. The porcelain itself is free of any chips, cracks, or hairline fractures. The interior is clean, and the white glaze remains bright. The hand-painted pink rose garland retains its beautiful, soft color. There is very minimal shelf wear on the bottom base ring, and the heavy gold gilding on the handle and rim is remarkably well-preserved with almost no noticeable rubbing or loss.
Please note that vintage and antique items naturally show some signs of age and history.
