This original postcard is from the 1933 Century Of Progress (Chicago World's Fair) which was held in Chicago. It is in excellent condition and the front features the "Entrance- Illinois Host House, Chicago World's Fair". The reverse side features a postcard format, which is unused and a paragraph that says "This Silver and gold building offers its welcome to the world. Entering the grand hall, the visitor will see on the wall a large mural showing colorful episodes in the history of Illinois. Besides rest rooms and lounges, three rooms are devoted to an unusual showing of the life of Abraham Lincoln, the great citizen of Illinois" and measures approx. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2".
