Japanese Crewel Embroidered On Linen. Nice size frame board 16 X 16 inch. Lovely as seen the outer edge trim has some loose stitches which to me, looks like they had smaller pieces of yarn and used them in the outside border to me, its the start and stop points. They could be worked under or left as is. Best guess circa 1940s to 1950s. A neat item for your decor ready to frame or enjoy as is.
