This is a very nice used 1/2" wide tanged, beveled firmer chisel marked "WM MARPLES & SONS SHEFFIELD ENGLAND" in very small lettering on the steel. It is sharp and ready to use, no rust or pitting in the cutting edge area, a few tiny pitting specks on the top beveled area noted, no rust, straight. The handle is the hardwood type with the steel ferrule and end ring cap, very solid, one minor grain seperation noted, fits tightly to the tang of the chisel. It is 12" long overall. A nice quality made chisel!
