Meito China Covered casserole dish Japan marked Meito China made in Japan in a crown mark. This is a wonderful hand painted in elaborate detail with multi-color flowers, scallops, and gold details.It is in white with a light yellow border with lovely flower patterns with pink, yellow and blue flowers with leaves and wonderful gold trim. It is in excellent condition No chips no cracks no crazing gold trim has some use wear, mainly on the handle of the lid, but remains over all excellent. Measures 5 1/2 inches high and 10 inches wide at the pretty handles. It is just beautiful and a wonderful find. Best guess circa 1950s to 1960s.
