Offering this beautiful old hand carved miniature round box with lid, box and edge of lid have a tiny stipple carved pattern. Also on lid is a carved oriental scene - center of lid is cut out with same stipple pattern and a tiny knob. Measures 2 1/2 inches tall x 3 1/2 inches diameter. Good+++ condition, no cracks or chips, lid fits very securely. Beautiful aged patina! No makers marks but looks to be Japanese. Age is approximately late 1800's to early 1900's.
