Description

Murano Italy Mid Century Art Glass Bowl 5 1/4 inch Clear Art Glass Cased Yellow with Silver Striations. My best guess is this bowl was made by Bullicante. and perhaps called Barovier Toso. Georgeous designed with the inside of bowl cased yellow with the silver striations and the outer is clear with the silver striations, with transforming patterns around the top of the the rim. Meaning, if you look down at the top of bowl, the ruffles are crimped inward and outward and alternate in pattern. The ruffles that are crimped inward toward center depict in yellow on the rim and then flows down outer bowl into clear with silver striations and then extends outward from there in clear and is crimped on the outer side. While the ruffles that extended outward, are yellow with the silver striations. The pictures can better describe then my words. No chips and No Cracks. No label and Unsigned. I will share this much that I have observed in other listings online, I have seen this bowl called Vetro Artistico Veneziano, but again, no label and not only the silver striations form differently then those compared to Vetro Artistico Venziano works, the actual bowl I found Venziano made in clear cased purple similar to this listing bowl, does not have the silver striations, and there are less ruffles. In addition, I have also seen this bowl called venetian, but I don't believe so. Feel free to share your thoughts. Height 2 1/4 inches X 5 1/4 inches across top. Please ask any questions. Please search for Allie's Vintage Alley to see my online store. This item will ship from USA, St. Albans, VT in a box size 7 X 7 X 6 iinches and has a total boxed weight of 2 pounds. NCETSMR2S
