believe to be from the late 1800's Chinoiserie Beech Hancock Pekin plate Transfer printed then hand enamelled in blues oranges and greens. The back of the plate is marked PEKIN B & H the 'PEKIN' is inside a circle with dots around the edge. 6 1/2 inches across. As you can see from the photos the plate does have some of the edging color worn off. I have not made any attempt to clean for fear of removing any desirable patina. Please see photos for more details on design condition and color. This plate is in the earlier of the two Pekin patterns by Beech Hancock--the one with the smokers. Transfer printed and then hand enamelled in green red pink and yellow with a lustre border. It shows the usual age crazing and some paint loss to the rim through use, also has two hairline cracks which can been seen from the back priced accordingly.
