This is a nice clean used level wind reel marked "PFLUEGER AKRON TRADE MARK NO. 1893L MADE IN U.S.A." on the polished diamolite reel from the 1950's. It's a nice looking reel with over 95% of it's diamolite (chrome) finish intact. It has light wear, and some light scratches, and light wear on the chrome finish.  This one has the patented aluminum handle with the strengthening steel ring.  The ring is held on with a total of 6 screws, we note that one of the six is missing.  Otherwise, Good strong clicker, good brown marbled handles, both oil cups intact. A very nice looking reel, oil it a bit and go fishin! Measures 2.2" diameter x 4" wide across, including the handles. A very clean reel, in good++ working condition!
