Description

This is a vintage Mexican sterling silver brooch of a peasant man wearing a hat and balancing 2 bundles on a stick. The brooch is simply marked SILVER MEXICO and I do not know who made it. I was told it might possibly be a Fred Davis piece or based on one of his designs. The brooch measures 2-3/8 inches in diameter. The brooch weighs 18 grams. It is in good condition but the two dangling round bundles do have a few dimples on them. The brooch also has a slight age patina and may need cleaning or polishing. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for stopping by.
