This original postcard is from the 1933 Century Of Progress (Chicago World's Fair) which was held in Chicago. It is in excellent condition and the front features the "The Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago". The reverse side features a postcard format, which is unused and a paragraph that says "The New Field Museum Of Natural History is located in Grant Park at the foot of Roosevelt Road, which will be continued as a thoroughfare 100 feet wide, east of Michigan Ave. The building built of Georgia Marble, is strictly fireproof. Estimated cost Four Million Dollars" and measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".
