Vintage Range Salt and Pepper Shakers Made in Japan Circa 1930s to 1940s. This is a larger pair height 5 inch X over all diameter 2 5/8 inch. These shakers were used in the kitchen and normally on the stove so called Range or Stove Top Shakers. No chips, they do have slight crazing. Mainly on the bottom, one more prominent then the other as seen in pictures. The cork stoppers are on the inside of each. It looks like theres a chip around the edge of the cork insert on the bottom of one shaker, but I believe its a spur from the making. A must have harder to find set.
