This is a very nice, clean, well cared for 10" ratchet brace with the antique spring-less alligator jaws dating back to the early 1900's era.   I am surprised that there is no maker's names, numbers or logos on this brace!  It's a nicely made brace with a strong ratchet spring clicker!  The bare steel is not rusty, very little wear, a few tiny spots have minor pitting.  The handles spin smoothly, although I do notice that the end handle has no oil hole, it can be oil sufficiently from the outside.  The same end handle has a form of some sort on both the bushing side and the end outside.  The handle is very well attached and turns a auger bit with no problems to report.
