Beautiful and very unusual Ring that I purchased in England many years ago. The Amethyst is a very deep purple, and the ring is very large. 1 1/4 inches along the finger. The gold aroung the ring acts like a cushion and molds around the finger, and there is a gold rope around the High Gold Bezel Setting. The ring is a size 7, and there is NO mark in it. I guarantee it to be gold. There is a tiny chip in the top of the Cabochon stone, which has been there since I purchased it. (sold as is) I have worn this ring often, and it is a 'Stunning' piece of Jewelry.
