This is a nice clean tanged, V-groove carving chisel, marked (on the handle) "ROBERT SORBY SHEFFIELD ENGLAND". It's in very good condition, sharp, but could use some honing before use. The handle is solid, nice brass furrule, no cracks, a beautiful hand polished finish on it. A good used .23" wide x 6.75" long carving chisel, by a well know English maker!
