This is a top quality English made carving chisel marked "S.J. Addis CAST STEEL ENGLAND 7" on the steel shank. It is 1/8" wide at the cutting edge, and 8" long overall. It has a regular sweep or arc in regards to the type of gouge, it has nearly a full radius. It has a good solid, 8 sided tanged type handle, that fits well and looks nice, one small spot of paint noted on the handle. A very nice, hard to find chisel overall, by a well known edge tool maker!
