No surprise with the bicentennial in 1976, this l972 Sarah Coventry Americana brooch and clip earring set would be a popular patriotic design for the 70s. It’s one of the sets designed by Delizza & Elster for Sarah Coventry. The brooch is featured on page 201 of Judith Miller’s book, Costume Jewelry. When the book was published in 2003, she listed the value as $50-55. This is a different set with the pin being 1 3/4 inches square and the earrings 1 inch high and 1 inch wide.
