This is a nice clean saw set pliers marked by maker "A. SAYRE & CO.". Although this saw set is marked by Sayre & Co., it is in fact about 95% exactly the same as the Morrill's patent saw set, with a slight variation on the thumbscrew and thickness of the setting pad. This one is 6.5" long overall. All the settings and adjustments are in very good working condition, including a good strong spring. Clean, not rusty, some minor pitting noted on about 20% of the total surface area, none effecting the tooth setting pad, plunger, or adjustments. A rare model from the late 1800's!
