This is a nice clean older socket firmer chisel marked "MNFD FOR SEARS ROEBUCK & CO. CHICAGO". The marking is very small, but clear. Size is: 11.75" long overall x .53" cutter width x .33" thick at rear of blade. This chisel is very sharp, has plenty of length (7.5" long from cutting edge to socket end), and is ready to use. Condition of the steel is some staining and minor pitting otherwise clean, pitting doesn't effect it's cutting edge area. The hardwood handle is very solid, leather bound end, no cracks, a few minor scratches. A nice looking medium duty chisel overall!
