This is a rare found 1.5" wide x 14"long beveled edge socket chisel sharp with a good solid snug fitting hardwood handle with the leather cap.  It is marked with the maker's name and logo with a very micro size lettering making it hard to read every letter in the name, but there is enough there to verify that it is Hibbard, Spencer, & Bartlett Co." that made this chisel.  This company dates back to 1883 well into the 1900's, but this type chisel was made up until are 1930's era.  This chisel is useable, no rust but some staining noted.  A nice chisel overall!
